Golden milk is made like tea, except you use milk instead of water (any type of milk you'd like), and a mixture of spices consisting of: Cinnamon ( I use Ceylon cinnamon, which is better for health.), Green Cardamon, Black Pepper, Ginger, and of course Turmeric.
Talk about health benefits!! We all can use some added health benefits such as supporting and protecting our cells in our body.

Drink this in place of your hot cocoa. At times, we do not want cocoa/chocolate. Make this for yourself instead. So many health benefits!
Making Golden Milk
- Make sure you use fresh, dried spices. Old spices will not give as much flavor and they will not have as much health benefit.
- Make sure to use quality spices. The very inexpensive spices may not be the high quality you're looking for.
- Measure out your spices and lightly toast until fragrant.
- Steep in a paper tea bag or cloth in your warm milk. This way the texture of spices will not remain in your milk. (Any milk you desire: goat, sheep, coconut milk, etc.)
- Add a sweetener to your milk. Honey, date syrup, etc. (Remember, milk has a lot of natural sugar in it, so you may want to go light on adding sweetener.)
